CJ's Arrival

I know this will come as a shock to many of you. Especially since CJ looks JUST like us, but he was adopted! No, really it is true. We received a call on Friday, June 30, 2006 and given some information on the situation. We chose to have our file presented to the birth mom and were told if we were chosen that we would have a baby by the next week. Yes, there was a bit of panic but more than that we were excited and had to wait. We called our parents and made sure our phone was with us at all times! We were chosen the following Sunday, ate dinner with our birth mom, and her two kids, on Wednesday, CJ was born Thursday and we brought him home within 8 days of finding out about him. When spent every minute we could with Tenesha. We have a lot of fun fact about her and feel like we have gotten to know her a bit. We plan on telling CJ about her. It will be fun to share what we know and the memories we made together in his first days of life. It has been a dream come true, that first Tenesha chose us to be parents with her. Second how blessed we are with CJ and all that he has taught us already. I don't think words will ever come close to how we fell about him and how much we love having him. Not to mention how we love the titles of Mama and Dada!!!
