We are so excited to have him home. It was so great spending some time with him over the last couple days. It was so fun hearing stories and being able to visit with him. To watch him as he saw carpet, and his very own bed for the first time in a long time. To hear him make comments like this one "Wow, it's beautiful!" as he walked around his home! The most priceless part was seeing him walk through the gate (after several delays) and seeing him greet his mom, dad and other family members, that were waiting to greet him. To see his reaction as he saw a nephew that he remembered and remember him well, to move onto two he met but were tiny when he left and somewhat remembered him with the help of parents and photos, and to the last two that were born while he was gone. He took a minute with each of them. It was fun to see him look into everyone eyes and share in the excitement of him being home.
How fun to see him on the floor wrestling with the kids and running all over the house with them. To see him put his arm around his mom or someones else and hear the excitement on all of our parts. I think at some point he had each of the kids on his lap.How fun to see him as he looked at pictures from the mission and told the stories that we all imagined he would!(though the MTC story needs a bit more proof) I am sure he made an impression on everyone but I know for sure that he made an impression on me, as he reminded me of the importance of setting goals. Knowing that he was going into a new chapter of his life, he has already made goals and is trying to reach them. What a great example! I know that he has already made another impression on at least one of his nephews. CJ woke up this morning sad that he wasn't at Uncle Jesse's house. Why? Because in his words...."Uncle Jesse mine new friend...we wrestle." How fun to know that you are already a big part of our son's life. We can't wait to see you again! We love you. Welcome home Elder Jesse..Welcome HOME!!
The only bad thing about him being home is we no longer will get a great email on Monday! Which we will miss but not more than having you here!!

that's so sweet - it's great welcoming home our loved ones - no matter where they've been!
How fun! The kids looked like they were so excited to have him home!
Great to have family back home and to surround you. I can't believe how big CJ is. He is so cute. We love you.
