Disney World 09

It has been such a long time since I updated this blog.I need to be better at this...we had our family vacation back in October. We went to Disney World. Josh's mom and dad came with us and we all had a blast. CJ was in heaven having his Grandma and Grandpa to himself! I think they made some great memories together. CJ was so excited from the start. He sat with Grandma and Grandpa on the plane for the most part and at times Josh and I felt like he didn't know we were there. How awesome to have him love his grandparents that much eh?

His whole quest for this trip was to find a pirate sword to go with his Halloween costume. As you can see he did find one. The best part of the trip for me was to see his little face light up with excitement when he saw something! Those moments are priceless to me! CJ was able to go on most of the rides. There were very few he would go on more than once but he did good and had fun. The weather was perfect and we couldn't have had a better family vacation!

This time he actually didn't mind taking pictures with the characters. Buzz was the first one! Of course this was one of his favorite rides.

Goal achieved...a real pirate's sword and a pink balloon to boot!

A couple days before coming home I fell and hurt my knee. I spent the next couple days in a wheel chair not being able to walk much. however it didn't ruin our fun! We really did have the time of our lives. It was great have Grandma and Grandpa with us to make fun memories. We hope to do it again in a few years. It was worth every penny spent to get there. Thanks again for coming with us and having so much fun! CJ was so adorable when we left. We had been prepping him that it was our last day. He said to me lets hide and we can just sleep here so we don't have to leave. We finally convinced him, though he wasn't happy about it to wave good bye until next time!
